Former FM calls on UN to confront those obstructing peace in Yemen

SANAA, July 26 (YPA) – Former Yemeni Foreign Minister Abu Bakr Al-Qirbi called on the United Nations to confront anyone who obstructs negotiations for a inclusive political solution in Yemen following the economic agreement between Sanaa and Riyadh.

Al-Qirbi stressed in a post on “X” the importance of the necessity of sustaining the economic agreement after canceling the decisions of the Aden-based Central Bank and the airlines, so that it would receive full support from all parties.

Al-Qirbi called for the United Nations to immediately begin negotiations for a comprehensive political solution if it truly wants to end the war on Yemen.
