Aden Governor: Yemeni people is the only victor of economic agreement

SANAA, July 24 (YPA) –  The governor of Aden province, appointed by the Sanaa government, Tariq Sallam, said on Wednesday that the only victor of the economic agreement signed between the Sanaa government and Saudi Arabia is the steadfast Yemeni people in all provinces.

Sallam added, “The agreement won for the simple citizen oppressed by poverty as a result of the corruption of excessive political forces and the unjust economic war that doubled the high prices and financial inflation.”

He considered the economic agreement “a victory for the absent humanity in Yemen” and called on all political forces and parties to support the Yemeni people in their livelihood and social and economic security.

The Governor of Aden wondered why this agreement was politicized, which is essentially a victory for every Yemeni citizen because he is the only one affected by the collapse of the banking sector, especially regarding internal and external transfers.
