SANAA, July 16 (YPA)- The Parliament on Monday approved the report of the Finance Committee on the government’s request to exempt domestic gas from customs duties, taxes and commission of the gas company.
The parliament recommended the government side to stop the work of the previous mechanism in the transfer, sale and distribution of domestic gas through the private sector and not import any quantities in the future.
The parliament recommendations referred to the importance of the gas company continuation in performing its role through operating its stations and supervising the distribution and sale of domestic gas.
The recommendations included the commitment to sell the domestic gas cylinder of 20 liters at the specified price of 3000 Yemeni riyals.
