Militant killed in armed attack in Lahj

LAHJ, July 18 (YPA) – One of the militants was killed on Thursday in an attack in Al-Anad area in Lahj province, which is under the control of the UAE-funded Southern Transitional Council (STC) factions in southern Yemen.

Local sources affirmed that the two armed men believed to belong to the STC forces stormed Al-Jarad camp for internally displaced people in Tuban district.

The sources confirmed that the clashes was due to a dispute with one of the displaced.
The gunmen attempted to flee the camp, but one of them was killed while being pursued by the residents.
