Hamas calls for urgent action to curb Zionists’ crimes against Palestinian journalists

GAZA, July 07 (YPA) -The Hamas Movement has called for necessarily taking urgent punitive measures against the Israeli occupation regime for its successive massacres against Palestinian journalists.

“A new galaxy of journalists has joined the convoy of martyrs, who are victims of the genocidal war that are being waged by the Israeli occupation army against our defenseless people in the Gaza Strip,” Hamas said in a statement on Saturday.

“[Israel’s] criminal killing machine targeted five journalists along with their families during the past hours,” Hamas added.

Hamas affirmed that the number of male and female journalists who had been killed since the Israeli aggression against Gaza started has surged to 158 martyrs, accusing the Israeli occupation army of deliberately killing them in order to obscure the truth of the atrocities committed by its forces in Gaza.

Hamas said that the Israeli regime commits its crimes against journalists with no regard for the international law, stressing the need for international action to hold Israeli leaders accountable for their ongoing violations against Palestinian journalists.
