Dozens of Palestinians killed in continued Israeli aggression on Gaza

GAZA, June 29 (YPA) – Dozens of Palestinian civilians have been killed, and others injured since early Saturday morning, in renewed shelling by Israeli occupation forces on various parts of Gaza, marking the 267th day of the aggression.

Palestinians medical sources reported multiple casualties after the Israeli artillery shelled makeshift shelters and agricultural greenhouses in the Al-Mawasi area, northwest of Rafah city, southern Gaza.

Also in Rafah, rescue teams retrieved the bodies of five victims following the withdrawal of Israeli troops from the Shakoush area west of the city.

In addition, Israeli tanks opened fire towards residential homes east of Khan Yunis city.

Meanwhile, in central Gaza, Israeli forces targeted areas north and west of Nusseirat camp concurrently with artillery bombardment.

Further airstrikes by Israeli warplanes targeted neighborhoods of Tel Al-Hawa and Sheikh Ajleen southwest of Gaza City.

Israeli quadcopters also targeted civilian homes near Al-Shama’a Mosque in the Zaytoun neighborhood and in the Shujaiya district, resulting in casualties, alongside intense artillery shelling.

​​​The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7th, 2023 has tragically resulted in the killing of more than 37,765 Palestinians, predominantly women and children, and the injury of over 86,429 others, according to preliminary reports.
