Netherlands summons Israeli occupation ambassador over charges of spying on ICC

AMSTERDAM, June 27 (YPA) – The Netherlands summoned the Israeli occupation ambassador to reprimand him against the background of a press investigation that confirmed that the Israeli “Mossad” spied on senior officials of the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague.

The official Hebrew Broadcasting Corporation said, “Israel’s ambassador to the Netherlands, Modi Ephraim, was summoned to the Dutch Foreign Ministry today to be reprimanded.”

It explained that the reason was “a press investigation that stated that ‘Israel’ was spying and threatening senior officials at the ICC in The Hague.”

On May 28, the British newspaper The Guardian published an investigation in which it confirmed that Mossad spied on former International Criminal Prosecutor Fatou Bensouda and threatened her in order to push her to work for the occupying state.

According to the investigation, Mossad also spied on the current prosecutor of the court, Karim Khan, and dozens of people who were linked to proceedings against “Israel” in the court, including Palestinian lawyers, diplomats, and activists.
