TEHRAN, June 06 (YPA) – Iran’s Interim President Mohammad Mokhber, affirmed that “Israel is part of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization in practice and the entry of such foreigners into the region will cause insecurity in the Caucasus.”
This came during his phone call with Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev on Wednesday.
Mokhber said: “We will continue to implement the agreements reached during the last meeting between the martyred Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and his Azerbaijani counterpart, Ilham Aliyev.”
He appreciated the solidarity and sympathy expressed by the government and people of Azerbaijan for the martyrs of service in Iran, saying: “the Iranian and Azerbaijani peoples shared unbreakable religious, kinship, and heartfelt bonds with each other.”
