MAHRA, June 04 (YPA) – About five citizens were killed and other two wounded on Tuesday in an explosion targeting the city of Al-Ghaydah, the center of Al-Mahra province, eastern Yemen.
Local sources familiar with the matter said that the accident was the result of an explosion in the solar energy system, which also caused material damage.
The incident comes amid a significant rise in temperature, with the lack of electricity service in Al-Ghaydah and the rest of the coalition-held areas in southern and eastern Yemen, as a result of corruption issues n the file of fuel supply to power stations.
