Yemen’s military attacks Israeli ships in Mediterranean Sea

SANAA, May 24 (YPA) – Yemen’s armed forces carried out on Friday three military operations against three commercial ships heading to the occupied ports in the Palestine.

Spokesman of the military Brigadier General, Yahiya Sarie, said in a statement made to the massive crowds of Yemeni people in al-Sabeen Square in the capital Sanaa that the first operation directly targeted the Israeli ship ‘MSC ALEXANDRA’ with a number of the ballistic missile in the Arabian Sea.

He affirmed that the another operation accurately hit the ship ‘YANNIS’ belonging to the Greek Eastern Mediterranean Maritime Company with several ballistic missile and drones, after passing through the Red Sea.

The spokesman indicating that the military operations came after the three ships belonging to the same company arrived at the ports of occupied Palestine on May 4-5.

He added that the third operation targeted the Israeli ship ESSEX with several missiles in the Mediterranean Sea while after violating the decision to ban entry to the ports of occupied Palestine.

“The Yemeni armed forces renewed their warning to all companies dealing with the Israeli entity, regardless of their destination, will be targeted within the declared area of operations,” the spokesman warned.

Sarie confirmed that the Yemeni military is proceeding with full determination and faith in implementing the fourth phase of escalation in a triumph for the oppression of the Palestinian people and until the aggression is stopped and the siege on Gaza Strip is lifted.
