SANAA, May 10 (YPA) – A prominent Yemeni politician revealed a plan among leaders loyal to Saudi-led coalition leaders to target the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) in the city of Aden and other southern provinces.
“There is a consensus between the head of “Presidential Leadership Council” Rashad Al-Alimi and the head of the pro-coalition government, “Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak”. They seek to eradicate and burn the STC socially,” The Yemeni politician Hussein Al-Azzi said in a post on his X account.
He explained that neither “Al-Alimi” nor “Bin Mubarak” can directly confront the STC. Although they have differences, but they succeed in making this confrontation easy through their clear agreement in eradicating the STC, hinting at Saudi directives.
He noted that trend is to strike the STC among the members of society, which is important and noticeable.
This comes within the framework of Saudi directives aimed at limiting the expansion of the STC’s control over various southern regions by deploying forces of the so-called “Dera Al-Watan” in Aden and other southern provinces.
