Israeli occupation arrests 25 Palestinians from West Bank

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, May 09 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation forces arrested at least 25 Palestinian citizens from the West Bank, including brothers and former detainees, from yesterday evening until Thursday morning.

The Prisoners’ and Ex-Prisoners’ Affairs Authority and the Prisoners’ Club explained that the arrest operations were concentrated in the Bethlehem governorate, while the rest of the arrests were distributed among the governorates of Ramallah, Hebron, Jenin, Nablus, Salfit, and Al-Quds.

They pointed out that the occupation has recently escalated the arrest of dozens of those who were recently released, including administrative detainees, in addition to carrying out widespread raids, severe beatings, and threats against detainees and their families, accompanied by sabotage and destruction of citizens’ homes.

Thus, the total number of arrests after October 7 of last year rose to more than 8,665, and this total includes those who were arrested from homes, or through military checkpoints, or those who were forced to surrender themselves under pressure, or those who were held hostage.
