Security services thwarts criminal operation in Bayda

BAYDA, July 14 (YPA) – The security services of Bayda province thwarted on Friday a criminal operation which was targeting citizens in a market of Thi-Naem district, a security official told Yemen Press Agency on Saturday.
Th official said that a specialized team was able to dismantle an explosive device planted in the market and detonated without causing any damage.
The official confirmed that the security services will follow up the criminals who stand behind this terrorist act, that targets citizens, and bring them to justice to receive their deterrent punishment.
The security in the province of Bayda has been able to dismantle hundreds of improvised explosive devices planted in the roads, in front of houses and public places, and managed to arrest dozens of elements and criminal cells belonging to the so-called Al Qaeda and ISIS, who work under the management and funding of the coalition of aggression.
