Road connecting Yemen, Oman closed due to flooding

HADRAMOUT, May 01 (YPA) -The international road linking Yemen with the Sultanate of Oman in Hadramout governorate, eastern Yemen, has been closed due to floods, local sources reported on Wednesday.

Activists from Hadramout confirmed on the X platform that the torrential rain in Wadi Tabqal and Wadi Amad have cut off the road connecting the cities of Seiyun and Mukalla, the center of the governorate, in Wadi Al-Ain.

They explained that the floods swept away a bus carrying 8 people and their fate is still unknown.
