SANAA, April 30 (YPA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hisham Sharaf, met on Tuesday in Sanaa with the head of the United Nations Mission to Support the Hodeida Agreement (UNMHA), Maj. Gen. Michael Beary.
In the meeting, the minister praised the efforts provided by the UNMHA’s team during the last period, stressing Sanaa’s keenness on the security and stability of the Red Sea, and Bab al-Mandab and Arabian Sea regions, in addition, ensuring the safety of international navigation.
Sharaf pointed out that the firm humanitarian and moral stance by the Yemeni armed forces in preventing to pass any ship related to the Zionist entity, until the Israeli aggression on Gaza is stopped and the delivery of humanitarian, food and fuel aid to the Gaza Strip without any obstacles.
He stressed the government’s keenness to provide facilities and support to the UNMHA team in Hodeida and to continue coordination and consultation, which would make their missions to succeed.
For his part, Maj. Gen. Beary said that the Redeployment Coordination Committee would continue to work as required, expressing his hope that the desired goals will be achieved from the presence of the United Nations Redeployment Coordination Mission in Hodeida.
