Israeli occupation arrests 8,430 Palestinians in West Bank

GAZA, April 23 (YPA) – At least 8,430 Palestinians have been arrested in the occupied West Bank, including the city of Al Quds, for 200 days of war on the Palestinians.

According to the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club on Tuesday, “the Israeli occupation forces carried out massive arrest campaigns throughout all of Palestine, the institutions managed to document the number of arrest cases after October 7 in the West Bank, which have reached to date no less than 8,430.”

The Club confirmed in a statement that among the detainees included 280 women and girls, and 540 minors, noting that the statistics include women who were arrested from the occupied territories of Palestine in 1948.

The Israeli occupation continues the crime of enforced disappearance against Gaza detainees, institutions have not been able to obtain accurate numbers of those who have been arrested in Gaza, but their number is estimated in the thousands.

The total number of prisoners in Israeli occupation prisons, according to the statement, as of the beginning of April has reached more than 9,500, including more than 3,660 administrative detainees.
