Citizens injured in Saudi offensive on Saada

SAADA, April 23 (YPA) – Tow citizens were injured in a Saudi attack on the residential areas of Saada province, north of Yemen.

A security official said the Saudi army fired artillery at Shada border district.

Earlier in the day, the official confirmed that Saudi artillery targeted civilian villages in the Ghafra area of the Al-Zahir border district in the same province.

Last week, the Saudi army had targeted with artillery shells the Al-Sheikh area of the Munabbih border district, which led to the death of a civilian and damage to citizens’ property.

Since the war on Yemen started in March 2015, the Yemeni border areas in Saada have witnessed continuous attacks by the Saudi army, resulting in thousands of dead and wounded civilians, in addition, massive destruction of property.
