Cholera epidemic spreads among people of Mocha

TAIZ, April 23 (YPA) – Cholera has spread frighteningly in the coastal city of Mocha, which is under the control of Emirati factions, west of Taiz Governorate.

Medical sources reported that the city’s hospitals are full of patients from Tihama, especially the elderly and children, indicating that the Doctors Without Borders Center received hundreds of cases, with 271 cases infected with the disease recorded since the beginning of this April.

The sources explained that the reception of Doctors Without Borders Hospital came after the failure of the health administration to control the disease and reduce the epidemic hotspots spread in various residential neighborhoods.
