Zionist enemy targets largest pharmaceutical factory in Gaza Strip
GAZA, April 20 (YPA) – The municipality of Deir al-Balah, in the central Gaza Strip, said on Saturday that the ongoing Israeli occupation aggression targeted the largest pharmaceutical factory in the Strip.
In a statement, the municipality of Deir al-Balah said that “In light of its systematic targeting of the health system in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli occupation targeted the largest pharmaceutical factory in the Gaza Strip, located in Deir al-Balah, Salah al-Din neighborhood, by direct targeting by Zionist warplanes during the incursion into the eastern area of Deir al-Balah”.
The municipality also stressed in the statement that this deliberate targeting of the health system by the occupation comes in the context of the Zionist policy to empty the Gaza Strip and make it unfit for life, which is a continuation of the episodes of systematic destruction of all sectors that would strengthen the Palestinian presence on the ground.
The factory, owned by the Arab-German pharmaceutical manufacturing company, is the largest of its kind in Gaza and was opened only about three years ago, and covers a large part of the pharmaceutical market in the Gaza Strip.
