Torrents flood districts of Hadramout, Mahra is preparing to confront depression

HADRAMOUT, April 17 (YPA) – Several areas in Hadramout province, eastern Yemen, witnessed on Wednesday heavy rains, resulting in torrents flowing into the valleys and roads.
Observers believe that the effects of the depression in Hadramout valley began with rainfall of varying intensity, with torrential torrents flowing in several areas of the valley and the desert.

Activists circulated pictures and video clips showing the flow of torrents in a number of streets and neighborhoods of the valley districts in the province, in addition to blocking the main road linking the districts of Sayoun and Tarim.

A number of Yemeni provinces, including Hadramout and Mahra, are expected to witness heavy rains in the coming hours.
