NEW YORK, April 16 (YPA) – The United Nations accused on Tuesday Israeli entity of continuing to impose “illegal” restrictions on humanitarian aid entering Gaza ٍStrip.
“Israel continues to impose illegal restrictions on the entry and distribution of humanitarian aid and carry out widespread destruction of civilian infrastructure,” Spokesperson for the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Ravina Shamdasani, said at a news conference in Geneva.
She called on the entity not to attack those who provide humanitarian assistance or attempt to obtain it.
On Monday, Gaza-based Ministry of Health reported that at least 33,207 Palestinians have been killed in the six-month war, and most of the Strip’s 2.3 million residents are homeless and on the verge of famine.
