Sanaa-based Dar Al-Iftaa declares Wednesday as first day of Eid al-Fitr

SANAA, April 08 (YPA) – Sanaa-based Dar Al-Iftaa has said that Wednesday, April 10, 2024, as the first day of Eid Al Fitr, after the crescent Moon was not spotted on Monday evening.

A committee in charge of investigating the sighting of the Shawwal crescent affirmed in a statement on Monday that the holy month of Ramadan would, therefore, last 30 days this year.
