Report: 29 civilians killed, injured in Saudi-led attacks over 48 hours

SANAA, July 12 (YPA) – at least 29 civilians were killed and injured when the US-backed Saudi-led coalition launched air and ground attacks on several provinces of Yemen during the past two days, a military official told Yemen Press Agency on Thursday.

Two civilians were killed, a woman and a child were injured in an airstrike hit a home in Baqem district of Saada province.

Also in Saada three civilians were killed and another injured in an airstrike on Aqeq area of Kutaf district.

Meanwhile, a civilian was killed by the fires of Saudi border guards in Shada border district, as well as a woman was killed and her husband and daughter were injured in Saudi artillery and missile shelling at residential areas of Razih border district.

In Hodeidah province, five civilians were killed and eight injured in airstrikes targeted two cars in Zabid district.

In Bayda province, a man and his wife were killed by the fires of Saudi-backed militiamen in Qania area.

In Lahj province, a civilian was killed another injured when the Saudi-led airstrikes targeted two tankers in Qubaita district.
