UNICEF confirms martyrdom of more than 13 thousand children in Zionist aggression on Gaza

GAZA, March 18 (YPA) – The United Nations Children’s fund (UNICEF) revealed on Sunday that more than 13 thousand children have died in Gaza as a result of the Zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip.

According to the Sama News Agency, the organization’s executive director, Catherine Russell, told CNN.P.S): “that many of them are acutely malnourished and do not even have the energy to cry”.

“Thousands more have been injured or we can’t even locate them, they may be trapped under the rubble and we have not seen this rate of child mortality in almost any other conflict in the world”, she said.

“I have been in the wards for children with severe anemia and malnutrition, and the whole Ward is completely quiet, because babies and children don’t even have the energy to cry”, she added.

Russell said that there were very significant bureaucratic challenges to aid trucks entering Gaza.
