Marib sheikhs call on coalition forces to interact seriously to open roads

MARIB, March 17 (YPA) – Several sheikhs of Marib called on the coalition forces to interact seriously with the initiative of the President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, to open the Marib road linked to Sanaa and Bayda provinces.

In a meeting, Sheikh Hussein Hazeb expressed his hope that the other party would respond to the initiative due to its positive results in the reality of people’s lives.

He added that everyone has an exceptional opportunity to close the road blocking file in the province, because it will pave the way for confidence-building steps.

For his part, Sheikh Hamad bin Rakan affirmed that Sanaa does not object to opening the roads of Marib province and to strive diligently to end this file by all possible means.

Meanwhile, Sheikh Mohammed Al-Amir noted that President Al-Mashat expressed to the province’s notables that Sanaa is full readiness to open roads and ensure an end to the suffering.
