37 people died, injured due to 32 traffic accidents in Saada

SAADA, March 13 (YPA) – 37 people were died and injured as a result of traffic accidents in Saada governorate during the last month of Sha’ban in year 1445 Hijri.

A statistic issued by the traffic police in the governorate confirmed the death of 9 people, and the injury of 28 others, due to 32 traffic accidents.

The statistic indicated that the material losses due to the traffic accidents were estimated at 45 million Yemeni riyals.

The statistic attributed the causes of traffic accidents to excessive speed, negligence of drivers and pedestrians, reversing the line, and non-compliance with traffic rules and etiquette.

The Traffic Department of the governorate called on all citizens to adhere to traffic rules and regulations and adhere to reasonable legal speed on the streets and roads to avoid themselves and others the risk of accidents.
