Transport ministry condemns shooting at Sanaa-Dhalea-Aden road opening committees

SANAA, March 13 (YPA) -The Ministry of Transportation condemned the armed militias affiliated with the Saudi-led coalition for opening fire on Tuesday on the presidential committee, military committee, and mediation committee tasked with coordinating with the Saudi-backed party to open the Sana’a-Dhalea-Aden road.

The Ministry of Transportation, in its statement, pointed out that the shooting and besieging of the committees in the Zeila area in Murais in Al-Dhalea province were inappropriate and despicable actions, indicating the Saudi-backed party’s lack of seriousness in alleviating the suffering of citizens.

The statement highlighted the community efforts and special committees aimed at opening roads in implementation of the directives of the President to alleviate the suffering of citizens and protect their lives and properties from the dangers of ambushes, looting, and robbery they face on rough and impassable roads.

The ministry called on the Saudi-backed party to embrace the authentic values of the Yemeni people in protecting travelers and securing the passage of citizens on roads.
