US, British warplanes launch airstrikes on Hodeida

HODEIDA, March 07 (YPA) – The American and British warplanes launched on Thursday an air raid on Hodeida International Airport and another on the Al-Jabanah area, west of Hodeida city, a security source in the province reported.

This comes after Hodeida Airport was targeted with two raids last night, Wednesday, which were preceded on Tuesday by five raids by American-British aircraft, including three raids on the Al-Jabanah area and two others on Ras Is in the Al-Salif District.

It is worth noting that the United Nations Mission to Support the Hodeida Agreement (UNMHA) announced Wednesday that the ports of Hodeida were free of weapons and that it was providing its basic and humanitarian services despite the recent developments in the Red Sea.
