HADRAMOUT, March 07 (YPA) – Dozens of teachers from Hadramout province districts in eastern Yemen organized a protest in front of the Education Office in the city of Mukalla, the center of the province, to protest their poor living conditions.
The teachers called on the government loyal to the Saudi-led coalition to pay their salaries regularly in light of the high cost of living and the collapse of the local currency.
They raised banners expressing their suffering as a result of the economic collapse, denouncing the low wages without any action from the pro-coalition government.
The protesters confirmed the continuation of their protests against the starvation policy implemented by the coalition against the people of the oil-rich province.
