Qatar’s Foreign Ministry denies any breakthrough in talks regarding war on Gaza

DOHA, Feb. 27 (YPA) – The spokesman for the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Majed Al-Ansari, denied the existence of an agreement between the Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas” and the Zionist enemy entity regarding any of the main issues related to the ceasefire in Gaza.

Al-Ansari said in a press conference on Tuesday, “There is no breakthrough that can be announced,” regarding the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, stressing that Doha is “optimistic” regarding the mediation talks related to Gaza.

He added that Qatar is “pressing hard” to approve the agreement proposed in Paris between Hamas and the Zionist entity.

The spokesman pointed out that “it is not possible to comment” on the statements of US President Joe Biden regarding the expectation of a ceasefire agreement on Monday.
