JIZAN, July 11 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Wednesday night launched an offensive against the positions of the Saudi-backed militias in Jizan province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.
The official said that the snipers unit of the army shot dead two Saudi-backed militias in Jizan province.
The sniping operation took place off Aljabari site, where the militias were stationed, the official added.
Meanwhile, the rocketry forces fired a barrage of Katyusha rockets towards a Saudi camp behind Aqaba Mountain in the same province, causing human and material losses.
Furthermore, the artillery forces bombed gatherings of Saudi-backed militias off al-Khadra crossing point in Najran region, causing deaths and injuries in the militias’ ranks.
