GAZA, Feb. 25 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation army announced on Sunday that two soldiers were killed and three were injured, including an officer, in battles in the southern Gaza Strip.
This is at a time when battles are raging between the resistance and the occupation forces in the Zeitoun neighborhood of Gaza City and in Khan Younis.
The Israeli occupation army said that one of the two soldiers killed yesterday in battles in the southern Gaza Strip was from Gafaati Brigade, one of its elite brigades.
The announcement of their deaths came a day after the Israeli army acknowledged the death of a company commander with the rank of major in the Shaked battalion of Gafati Brigade in the battles taking place in the northern Gaza Strip.
According to the announced toll by the occupying forces, 240 Zionist soldiers have been killed in the Gaza Strip since the start of the ground invasion on October 27 and more than 2,960 others have been injured, 318 of whom are still undergoing treatment in hospitals.
The Palestinian resistance confirms that the death toll among the Israeli occupation army is much higher than “Tel Aviv” admits.
