Several pro-coalition military leaders leave Aden city

ADEN, Feb. 19 (YPA) – A number of military leaders loyal to the coalition forces left on Monday the city of Aden, south of Yemen.

Official spokesman for the “Southern Revolutionary Movement,” Mohammed al-Numani, confirmed in a post on the “X” platform that the leaders opposed to the Emirati-Saudi presence in Aden returned to their rural areas after information was leaked indicating that they were placed on the assassination list that UAE and Saudi intelligence carried out in the city.

Al-Numani added that death squads trained by American experts to carry out assassinations have increased the pace of their activity, putting the lives of a number of military personnel opposed to the Emirati-Saudi presence in danger.

He explained that the UAE brought in terrorist elements of Al-Qaeda and ISIS from Syria and Iraq to Aden during the past few days for training and participation in what he called “the battles of the Arab and Red Sea.

Al-Numani adding that the military personnel left Aden due to fear of being assassinated as a result of their failure to respond to participating Emirati dictates in securing Israeli, American, and British ships in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.
