President heads meeting to discuss security, military situations in Hodeidah

SANAA, July 11 (YPA) – President Mahdi al-Mashat on Wednesday chaired a meeting held in Sanaa and devoted to discuss the security and military situation in Hodeidah province in light of the escalation of Saudi-led coalition.

The meeting dealt with aspects related to activating the role of local authorities in the province and districts, and improving and developing the revenues, especially in the current situation.

The meeting reviewed the humanitarian efforts to provide the needs of citizens and shelter and relief assistance for displaced people in the province.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and Security Affairs Maj. Gen. Jalal Al-Ruwaishan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Dr. Hussein Maqboli, Minister of Local Administration Ali Al-Qaisi, Mayor of the Capital Hamoud Obad and Deputy Minister of Finance Hashim Ismail.
