ALGIERS, Feb. 14 (YPA) – About 100,000 law officers are working to prosecute the Zionist entity for its crimes in the Gaza Strip, a step that is the first of its kind.
The head of the Algerian Bar Association, Ibrahim Tairi, revealed that about 100,000 lawyers have joined the Algerian bloc to prosecute the Israeli occupation for its crimes in Gaza.
In the same context, the famous French lawyer, Gilles Devers, confirmed that “arrest requests have been submitted against the Israeli Prime Minister, Defense Minister, and Chief of Staff.”
Tairi explained, in a press conference in Algiers, that “the legal mechanism to bring Israeli officials before international justice was launched by filing reports before the Office of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court in The Hague.”
For his part, Algerian parliamentarian Suleiman Zarqani said that what is happening in Gaza “has become beyond what the human mind can imagine, and the crimes of genocide committed by the Zionist entity in partnership with America and the Western evil forces .”
Zarqani added, in his interview with “Sputnik,” that “it has become necessary for everyone who has an ounce of humanity in his heart to move by various means to stop the brutal madness.”
He continued, saying: “The Algerian bloc came after the call of Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, who issued an appeal to the free people of the world to prevent Israel from escaping punishment.”
Meanwhile, the Algerian researcher, Nabil Kahlouch, says that “for the first time in judicial history, a bloc of this size has been formed, which includes 100,000 jurists from various parts of the world.”
According to Kahlouch, this bloc includes the National Union of Algerian Lawyers’ Organization, the Judges’ Syndicate, and the bar associations of Palestine, Jordan, Tunisia, Mauritania, and Libya.
Kahlouch added, in his interview with “Sputnik,” that “there are two main bodies before which Israel can be sued, which are the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court.”
He pointed out that “all evidence confirms Israel’s involvement,” expressing his hope that all countries in the world will join the international coalition, whether from Europe or elsewhere, to prosecute Israel, as he said.
