Doctors Without Borders expresses concern over situation at Nasser Hospital

GAZA, Feb. 14 (YPA) -“Doctors Without Borders” (MSF), expressed its concern about the situation at Nasser Hospital besieged by the Israeli enemy army in Khan Yunis city, south of the Gaza Strip.

MSF stated in a post on its “X” platform: “We are very worried about the situation unfolding at Nasser hospital in Khan Younis, Gaza. We call on Israeli Forces to ensure that all medical staff, patients and displaced people are unharmed.”

According to the organization, the Israeli occupation forces ordered all displaced people sheltering inside Nasser hospital, the largest in southern Gaza, to evacuate the facility. Medical staff and patients were told that they may remain in the hospital with a limit of one caretaker per patient.

“People are afraid to leave the hospital because they hear reports of people being shot at. Those who wish to leave must be granted safe passage out,” MSF added.

On Sunday, the Director-General of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, expressed his deep concern about the situation inside and around the hospital besieged by enemy forces.
