Israeli enemy army admits death of battalion commander, two other officers in battles in southern Gaza

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Feb. 13 (YPA) -The Israeli occupation army announced today, Tuesday, the death of three of its troops in battles in southern Gaza, bringing the total number of its casualties to 569 since October 7.

The enemy army allowed the publication of the names of the dead. Their names are: Maj. (res.) Yair Cohen, 30, from Ramat Gan, an acting company commander in Battalion 630 in the Southern Brigade,  Sgt. First Class (res.) Ziv Chen, 27,  from Kfar Saba, a reserve fighter in Battalion 630 in the Southern Brigade and Lt. Col. (res.) Netanel Yaacov Elkouby, 36, from Haifa, commander of Battalion 630 in the Southern Brigade.

The enemy army spokesperson mentioned that two reserve fighters from Battalion 630 in the Southern Brigade were seriously wounded in the battle in southern Gaza. They were evacuated for medical treatment in the hospital, and their families were informed.

With this announcement, the number of casualties in the Israeli army has risen to 232 since October 27th and to 569 since October 7.
