SANAA, Feb. 12 (YPA) – The national center for meteorology and early warning on Monday expected scattered showers in some areas of the Yemeni provinces.
The center affirmed in its weather forecast that light rains may prevail over the provinces of Taiz, Ibb, Rayma, Sanaa, Mahweet, Amran and Hajjah.
It indicated that the weather will be relatively cold during the night and early morning in the Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar and Bayda), with fog forming on parts of the highlands of the Saada, Hajjah, Mahwit, Raymah, Ibb and Taiz.
According to the center, the weather in the coastal areas and the Socotra Archipelago will be fair to partly cloudy, with the possibility of light to moderate rain on parts of the western and southern coasts, with moderate to active winds ranging in speed between 15 to 25 knots on the south of the western coast, and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab and the western Gulf of Aden.
It warned citizens in areas where rain expected to take caution and not be present in the depths of valleys and flood streams during the rainy season.
