Update: Gaza death toll from Israeli aggression tops 28,064 martyrs

GAZA, Feb. 10 (YPA) – The number of Palestinians martyred from the Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7 has risen to 28,064, with 67,611 others wounded.

Gaza-based Health Ministry said in a statement that the Israeli occupation committed 16 massacres against families in the Strip, killing 117 and injuring 152 during the past 24 hours.

“There are still a number of victims trapped under the rubble and on the roads, as the occupation is preventing ambulance and civil defense crews from reaching them,” it added.

The Israeli occupation continues its war against the Gaza Strip for the 127th day in a row, in light of a great scarcity of food, water, medicine, and fuel, and a shrinking number of operating hospitals and medical centers that provide services to the residents.

The ministry said that the occupation forces continued to besiege the Nasser Medical Complex, and opened heavy fire towards its gates, buildings and courtyards.

It indicated that medical staff inside the Nasser Medical Complex cannot move between its buildings.

The ministry statement also expressed its fear for the lives of 300 health personnel, 450 wounded and sick, and 10,000 displaced persons inside the Nasser Medical Complex, which is besieged by occupation forces.

It called on international institutions to be present inside the Nasser Medical Complex to protect.

For his part, the director of the Surgical Hospital at Nasser Medical Complex said that the Israeli occupation arrived at the northern gate of the complex and began carrying out sweeping operations.

The occupation’s tanks are also stationed at the entrance to the Jordanian field hospital next to Nasser Hospital, while local sources reported that occupation snipers opened fire on citizens in the vicinity of the complex, leading to martyring two of them.
