GAZA, Feb. 09 (YPA) – The Gaza Ministry of Health announced Friday that the death toll of Israeli aggression in Gaza Strip had risen to 27,947, the majority of whom are women and children.
The ministry said 107 people were killed in the past 24 hours, and the total number of wounded since the start of the aggression on October 7 now sits at 67,459.
It revealed that a number of victims are still under rubble and on the roads, and the occupation prevents ambulance and civil defense crews from reaching.
Residents of Gaza hope for a timely ceasefire agreement to avoid a potential Israeli attack on the border city of Rafah in southern Gaza, where more than a million people currently reside, many of whom are living in temporary tents.
