Britain decides to withdraw HMS Diamond ship from Red Sea

WORLD, Feb. 07 (YPA) – After being subjected to three Yemeni attacks, Britain has announced the withdrawal of the HMS Diamond ship from the Red Sea for maintenance.

The ship’s captain said: “The situation in the region is fraught with risks”

He added that the current focus is on maintenance and resupplying ammunition before returning to our mission in the Red Sea.

Last January, British Defense Secretary Grant Shapps said that the warship HMS Diamond, belonging to the Royal Navy, may have been targeted in an attack by Yemen.
