SANAA, Oct. 02 (YPA) –A senior official in the Ansarullah political bureau, Hezam al-Asad, sent a message Friday to residents of Taiz province, congratulating them on what he described as the liberation of their areas from Saudi-backed forces, amid rapidly unfolding military developments in Taiz.
In a message posted on his X account, Al-Asad wrote: “A blessed Friday of goodness and victory. Congratulations to our people in the liberated areas of Taiz, the province of pride and culture, whose people have risen alongside our armed forces to break free from the hated Saudi occupation and end its military mobilization.”

Al-Asad portrayed Taiz residents’ support for the armed forces as part of what he described as an effort to end the “Saudi occupation” and its military presence, saying it reflected growing public opposition to the Saudi presence.
The message went beyond a congratulatory statement, signaling a political message to Riyadh amid growing uncertainty over the future of Taiz.
