Mortar shell hits Safir facility in Marib

MARIB, Feb. 05 (YPA) – The guards of the Safir facility declared a state of alert after a mortar shell landed in the vicinity of the oil-producing facility in Marib province, local sources reported.

The sources said that the guarding of the facility accused the tribes that carrying out a sit-in to demand the authorities reverse the decision to raise the price of oil derivatives in Marib.

The sources explained that the guarding of the facility demanded from the pro-coalition authorities in the city of Marib to send more military reinforcements to protect the oil production fields in Safir.

On Saturday, the tribes of Marib gave the authorities of the city of Marib 24 hours to reverse their decision to raise the price of fuel.
