Prisoners’ club announces discovery of 30 bodies, handcuffed, blindfolded

GAZA, Jan. 31 (YPA) – The Palestinian Prisoners’ Club announced on Wednesday that the bodies of 30 martyrs, handcuffed and blindfolded, were found inside one of the schools that were besieged by the Israeli occupation in Beit Lahia, north of Gaza.

The club added, in a statement, that the martyrs were handcuffed and blindfolded, indicating that they were under arrest.

It stressed that the condition in which the bodies were found “is nothing but a clear indication that the occupation carried out a field execution against them.”

The club stated that the data on Gaza detainees being subjected to executions is increasing in light of the continuation of genocide in Gaza, in addition to the continuation of the crime of enforced disappearance against Gaza detainees 117 days after the aggression.

The testimonies of detainees who were released over the past period have increased about torture, abuse, and humiliation, including women and children,.

The club also confirmed in its statement that the occupation’s insistence on keeping Gaza detainees subject to enforced disappearance has only one explanation, which is that there is a decision to single them out with the aim of carrying out more crimes against them in secret.

The occupation forces have published many times horrific pictures and scenes about the arrests of hundreds of civilians in Gaza while they were naked and detained in conditions degrading human dignity.

Meanwhile, the Israeli Knesset recently approved the entry into force of regulations that deprive Gaza detainees of meeting with a lawyer for another four months, in light of the number of laws and military orders that were imposed on the issue of Gaza detainees after October 7.
