ABYAN, Jan. 28 (YPA) – Hundreds of people from the central area of Abyan province took on Sunday to the streets of the city of Lawder in a large popular protests in solidarity with the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
In the protests, organized by the Supreme Council of the Southern Revolutionary Movement, chanted slogans against the Zionist massacres against children and women in Gaza.
The demonstrators raised the Palestinian flag and banners calling on the people of the Arab and Islamic nation to take serious action in support of the resistance and protect holy places in Palestine.
The participants also denounced the continuation of the brutal massacres by American-British-backed Zionist entity in Gaza, amid the silence and complicity of the international community, the United Nations, and its human rights and humanitarian organizations.
They stressed that the Battle of Al-Aqsa Storm returned the Palestinian cause to its correct path and exposed the agents and traitors of the Arab regimes.
The Protestors welcomed the decision of the International Court of Justice, which condemned Zionist terrorism and considered a historic victory for the Palestinian people. They saluted the efforts made by the State of South Africa, which filed a lawsuit with the International Court of Justice and stood by the Palestinian cause.
