DHALEA, Jan. 28 (YPA) – A shopkeeper was seriously injured after being brutally assaulted by recruits affiliated with the pro-coalition factions in the center of the city of Qataba in Dhalea province, south of Yemen.
Sources familiar with the matter said that gunmen attacked Musa Ali Majli while he was inside the commercial tailoring shop on Saturday, in the middle of the Qataba market, and assaulted him severely with rifle butts, adding that he was transferred to a hospital to get treatment.
The sources explained that the assault was widely condemned by citizens and shop owners, who described it as “bullying” and blackmailing citizens.
The coalition-held Yemeni areas have witnessed unprecedented security chaos that threatens citizens and puts their lives in danger as a result of the criminal acts to which they are exposed.
