GAZA, Jan. 26 (YPA) – Palestine’s National Council called on the Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres, to declare the Gaza Strip a disaster area and to include the Zionist entity on the list of shame.
In a news statement, the council called for the international community and all countries of the world not to apply double standards, and for the scale of justice to be for all peoples, regardless of race, religion, and color.
The statement urged the peoples of the world and civil society organizations to intensify solidarity activities and put pressure on their governments to take urgent action to stop the aggression and war of extermination in the Gaza Strip, and all the crimes of the Zionist enemy in the occupied West Bank.
It stressed the need for international justice and judicial institutions to move in order to activate international law, justice and accountability, to prevent the leaders of the Zionist enemy from escaping accountability and punishment.
The council’s statement affirmed that some countries’ continued support for Israeli enemy authorities encourages it to continue committing war crimes against the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
