Hamas demands urgent int’l action to stop Zionist enemy’s targeting of hospitals

GAZA, Jan. 24 (YPA) – The Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas” on Tuesday called on the United Nations and relevant international organizations to swiftly intervene to stop the Zionist enemy’s targeting of hospitals in Khan Yunis city.

The Palestinian Information Center quoted the movement in a statement as saying: “We call on the United Nations and its institutions, the International Committee of the Red Cross and the World Health Organization, to take immediate action and stand up to their responsibilities towards the direct targeting of Al-Nasser Medical Complex and Al-Amal Hospital, in the city of Khan Yunis.”

The movement noted that the Zionist enemy army targeted the two medical facilities by firing from drones on their buildings and squares and by continuous aerial and artillery bombardment of their surroundings. It warned that this aggression “endangers the lives of patients, medical staff, and thousands of displaced people there.”

The Hamas movement confirmed that this deliberate and continuous targeting of hospitals is “a war crime that takes place in audio and video in front of the entire world and comes within the framework of the war of genocide against our people in the Gaza Strip, with the full support of the American administration, which is a partner in these crimes and violations.”
