Parliament Speaker thanks European Parliamentarian for his stands with Yemeni, Palestinian peoples

SANAA, Jan. 22 (YPA) – The Speaker of the Yemeni Parliament, Yahya Ali Al-Rai, sent on Monday a letter to the Belgian Member of the European Parliament, Marc Botenga.

In the letter, Al-Rai expressed his thanks and appreciation of the members of the parliament, and the Yemeni people to Botenga for his sincere speech regarding the Palestinian tragedy and the aggression against the Yemeni people, as well as his demand for the bombing of Gaza and Yemen to stop.

Al-Rai praised the summary and impressive presentation presented by the Belgian Member of Parliament in the European Parliament about Yemen and its suffering as a result of the aggression and siege for nearly ten years, condemning the ugly bias of the American administration until today by the occupying Israeli entity against the Yemeni and Palestinian peoples.

In his letter addressed, the Speaker of the Parliament renewed Yemen’s emphasis on the security and safety of navigation in the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden, and the Bab al-Mandab Strait, with the exception of Israeli ships or those bound for the ports of the occupied Palestinian territories, until the crossings are opened and water, food, and medicine brought in to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
