Cold weather anticipated to target Yemen provinces

SANAA, Jan. 22 (YPA) – The National Center for Meteorology anticipated on Monday cold weather during the late hours of the night and early morning in various provinces of Yemen.

The center said, in its weather forecast, that the weather will be cold in Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Bayda, Dhalea and Ibb, Jawf, Marib, Taiz, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramout, and Mahra province.

The possibility of moderate to active winds, ranging in speed between 14-30 knots, around the Socotra Archipelago, the south of the western coast, and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab.

The center warned citizens, especially the elderly, children, patients, and workers about the extremely cold weather.
